❯ ASI raises $325 million Series C for AI used in aviation, power and other critical infrastructure

Expanding from aviationASI’s October 20 announcement confirmed a $325 million Series C at a $3 billion valuation, led by Spark Capital with participation from affiliates of Citadel Securities, Meritech, Craft and others. The Boston company, previously named Air Space Intelligence, will expand deployments and its research and engineering teams.

Prediction informs operationsASI supplies airlines, air-traffic managers and utilities with simulation, monitoring and optimization software. Its systems help operators anticipate conflicts among capacity, weather and physical assets. Commercial customers identified by the company include Delta, Alaska Airlines and United Airlines. It also works with National Grid on electricity-system planning and operations. Its product is software incorporated into ongoing operational decisions.

Contracts require deliveryASI previously received an $875 million multi-year FAA program contract. That contract is separate from this equity round and does not represent current-period revenue. Aviation and utility buyers require reliable integration and continuous operation, beyond a successful demonstration. The new capital expands deployment capacity; commercial validation depends on fulfilling contracts and sustained use rather than valuation alone.
