❯ Ocient closes a $100 million Series C to expand AI analytics for very large enterprise datasets

A completed new roundOcient announced the closing of its $100 million Series C on November 5, co-led by BOKA Capital and OCA Ventures, bringing total funding to $260 million. Existing investors participated alongside new backers including Dallas Venture Capital. The valuation was not disclosed. Proceeds will accelerate delivery of OcientAIQ industry solutions.

Analyzing complete recordsOcient provides data and analytics infrastructure for enterprises with very large, continuously changing datasets, allowing analysts and agents to query the full record. A security team might need to establish when a risk indicator first appeared and which records it affected; a communications provider might need to retrieve historical information for compliance. Customers buy timely retrieval and computation across large datasets, extending beyond summaries of selected excerpts.

A data engine for agent workloadsFounded in 2016, Ocient combines ingestion, analysis, permissions and task orchestration in a unified platform, then adds industry tasks and delivery services. Analytical computation runs inside the data engine, with access controls, policies and lineage governed in the same process. The company aims to reduce data movement and model processing while keeping results reproducible and auditable, serving workloads where completeness matters.

Growth expectations support delivery expansionThe company expects this year’s revenue to more than triple, which remains a full-year forecast. Financing will help it deploy industry-specific solutions into more customer environments and support ongoing production use. Database performance provides the foundation; implementing industry requirements, permissions and actual tasks together determines whether experiments become daily work.

▮ SIGNALCompetition in AI for very large datasets will increasingly depend on data engines and implementation; keeping reproducible computation inside its engine lets Ocient expose complete business records to models while preserving a verification path for enterprises.
