❯ DeepSeek Harness reaches 1.54 million daily users and plans an official plugin marketplace
Official-API users rise by over a millionThe DeepSeek Harness team said on November 5 that daily active users accessing the official API reached 1.54 million as of November 4, consuming about 92 trillion tokens daily, according to Dahe Cailifang. Daily users stood at 271,000 on September 30, an increase of more than one million in just over a month. Tokens measure information processed by models and accumulate as agents plan and execute tasks.
Plugins assemble different workflowsHarness is an agent runtime that organizes models, tools, skills, sessions, sandboxes and storage. Its initial version launched on August 13 and its desktop app on September 29, using replaceable, composable plugins. The team reported about 35,000 third-party plugins, with roughly 60% of active users creating or installing at least one.
A larger ecosystem needs distribution and compatibilityThe team plans to improve plugin API stability and compatibility, strengthen security and build an official marketplace for publishing and finding tools. A creator-support program is also being prepared, with token incentives, technical exchanges and featured projects. As usage grows, finding suitable plugins and keeping them working through upgrades becomes more important to the user experience.
▮ SIGNALAs users and developers expand an agent’s tasks together, plugin distribution, compatibility and security become foundations for continued platform use.
