❯ Apple opens iOS 27.3 testing with conversation recaps and rewind on Apple Watch
September features enter testingApple released the first developer betas of iOS 27.3 and watchOS 27.3 on November 3. According to Investing.com, Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 can now test Siri Recap and Live Rewind, demonstrated at September’s product event. Both currently support English only.
Turning conversations into usable textSiri Recap organizes key points from conversations, while Live Rewind displays a transcription of the previous 15 seconds to recover something the user missed. Apple illustrated it with a restaurant exchange involving a server. One feature supports later review; the other helps during a conversation, connecting the watch’s microphone with AI text processing.
Controls and regional availabilityThe report quotes Apple as saying that underlying audio is not recorded or stored, and Live Rewind emits an audible alert when activated. iOS 27.3 also tests Apple Intelligence features in China, including notification summaries, Genmoji and writing tools; that regional set does not include the new Siri AI. The update remains in developer testing, with a full rollout planned for December.
