GitHub adds Copilot Chat and VS Code agent usage to impact dashboard

GitHub said on the GitHub Blog that the Copilot impact dashboard now includes Copilot Chat and the VS Code Agents window in its Agent adoption chart, giving visibility across nine Copilot experiences. It also renamed the “Passive users” cohort to “Chat-first users” to better describe people who mainly use chat but have not reached the adoption stage. The same two features are now included in enterprise and organization 28-day usage reports, while adoption phases and cohort size remain unchanged.
