OpenAI announces security partnership with Hacktron

OpenAI said on November 6 that it has formed a new security partnership with Hacktron to find vulnerabilities in its systems, especially at points where OpenAI services connect with third-party products and infrastructure. OpenAI said engineers and Hacktron’s security researchers will jointly choose high-priority areas to test, and that it will expand Hacktron’s access to frontier models through Daybreak Red. The company linked the effort to broader cyber-defense work and to other security steps taken this week, including a separate sprint and higher bug bounty rewards.
