TechCrunch reports OpenAI is making ChatGPT Cyber available to Daybreak Red users

According to TechCrunch, OpenAI announced a new cybersecurity-focused model, ChatGPT Cyber, for the highest tier of its Daybreak Red program. The report says Charge Robotics co-founder Max Justicz used GPT 5.6 Sol to find a severe Ubuntu-related flaw in about two hours and reported it to the Debian Project, which issued a patch. TechCrunch also says OpenAI said the model had scanned the Linux kernel and found 948 potential issues.
