The Verge AI reports Perplexity launches Teammates, its work-focused AI agents

According to The Verge AI, Perplexity has launched Teammates, a new always-on set of work-focused AI agents that can take on multiple roles inside a workspace. The feature pulls in projects, skills and memory from Perplexity tools users already have, and it builds on Perplexity Computer to collaborate on ongoing, large-scale work. Users can assign different jobs simultaneously, track progress in separate threads in the app, and interact with Teammates in Slack. Access requires Perplexity’s $200-per-month Max plan.
