❯ Kling 4.0 begins API rollout with 30-second generation and multi-keyframe control

Moving into third-party productsKling 4.0 began its API rollout on the evening of October 21, gradually opening to enterprise customers and developers. Jiemian’s announcement coverage describes improvements in realism, creative control and stability during large movements and complex camera work. This is the API stage; the model was already usable on Kling’s website.

Directing a sequenceThe model supports native clips of up to 30 seconds and as many as ten keyframes. Keyframes provide intermediate references for poses, composition or scenes, rather than relying solely on an opening image. Multimodal references help maintain consistency across characters, objects and audio.

Different integration schedulesNamed platforms include Higgsfield, Freepik, Meitu, OpenArt and Tencent Design Miora. Wondershare’s Enkio integration note confirms first-wave API access began October 21 and its own deployment started October 22. A model listing does not mean every output format and control is available across all subscription plans.

▮ SIGNALLonger clips, intermediate keyframes and API access give production tools more concrete ways to direct and revise generated video.
