❯ Cyera adds $400 million to Series G for enterprise agent security
What it sellsCyera helps enterprises locate sensitive data, inspect access rights and control what employees, software identities and AI agents can read or do. Because an agent can call tools, query databases and take actions, looking only at its prompts and responses misses much of the risk. Its Agent Guardian and endpoint products track those intervening steps.
How it got hereCyera began with enterprise data security: finding where sensitive information lives and determining which accounts can reach it. As enterprises connect AI agents to internal systems, the question expands from who can see data to which identity an agent uses, which tools it calls and what it ultimately does. This year Cyera introduced Agent Guardian and endpoint products and acquired Oasis Security, adding nonhuman-identity management to its data view.
The financingEnterprise data security company Cyera announced a $400 million Series G extension from Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. Evolution Equity led the round. Cyera says its valuation exceeds $12 billion; Crunchbase data puts cumulative funding at about $2.7 billion.
Industry impactCyera will invest in AI security products, the US federal market and international expansion. Separate discovery, identity and agent-monitoring tools can leave permission gaps for enterprise security teams; Cyera aims to connect those functions. Its advantage will depend on whether it can keep finding excessive access across complex customer systems and reduce it without interrupting legitimate work.
